I may be overhyping his potential and the importance of solo dungeon farming, but I think it is worth a look.If you are reading this article, you are probably very new to the game and want to get efficient progress in RAID: Shadow Legends as a beginner. At the very least, he could be paired with akoth (or another aoe hp burn champ with supplemental CC) and duo dragon and ice golem at a reasonable time, which is still quite exceptional for an epic champ that is not directly obtainable through shards (albeit it takes a minimum of 12-15 months of gameplay in normal doom tower). I believe this will be offset with his aoe atk down, single target poison sensitivity and A1 poison explosion. The one knock is he may not have enough selfsustain and may not be able to kill waves fast enough. He has a mixture of all of the attributes needed for a solo dungeon farmer (psuedo strong affinity by decreasing enemy crit rate, single target poisons, aoe atk down along with regen set). Although dark kael is not strong affinity against dragon 20, his passive reduces crit of enemies under poison by 15%. Since enemies are set at 15% crit (barring crit buffs), strong affinity effectively means you can't get crit (except for crit rate up buffs). I highlight strong affinity since a hidden perk of it is 15% lower chance to get crit hit. Bad El, Tyrant and Tomb Lord exhibit these attributes exceptionally with strong affinities against their preferred dungeons, mechanics for self sustain (or through artifacts) and % damage with poisons or burns. There are some exceptions to the rule (such as fushan, venus or torturehelm for dragon 20), but they all have varying levels of these 3 common attributes. Some common attributes among all of them has been strong affinity, enemy HP% damage and mechanics for self-sustain. Solo dungeon clearing champs have always intrigued me.
